Showcase #82: Nightmaster in "Some Forbidden Fate"

Download Showcase #82

Friend, it's possible you've been missing something. It's possible you've lived this long without digging a wonderful species of storytelling loosely labeled the literature of Sword and Sorcery.

Maybe you've never lost yourself in the adventures of John Carter, slayer of malevolent Martians. Or followed the mighty barbarian Conan as he bests black magic with wit and an active blade. Or conspired with the Grey Mouser and Fafhrd against absolutely slimy noblemen. Or--is it possible?--even shared the perils of the Hobbits in their quest for the Ring.

You've just finished reading NIGHTMASTER. If you liked it, I suggest you buy or borrow the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Robert E. Howard, Fritz Leiber, and J. R. R. Tolkien, the creators of the characters mentioned above. While you're at it, you might want to look up Michael Moorcock's Stealer of Souls and Stormbringer, volumes which chronicle the saga of the doomed King Elric and his Runesword.
